Toluna (formerly Ciao-Surveys) I joined this website when it was ciao-surveys which was another standard survey web-site linked to the ciao consumer review web-site. Some of the surveys were long and low paid, but some were reasonably well paid and definitely worth the effort, so it was just a case of ignoring any low-paid surveys and just taking the good ones. Cash payments were good and the payment threshold was just 5. Since ciao-surveys was taken over by Toluna, the surveys haven't changed, but the website is far bigger, more complex with a variety of competitions, prize draws, social networking etc. but with the simple cash payments replaced with points. The points may be exchanged for shopping vouchers (e.g. Amazon) The level of payment seems fine, but the payment threshold is higher (unless you want to swap your points for prize draw entries.
